Janelle “Nelle” Howell holds a Bachelor of Humanities in Communications from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership from Shippensburg University.
She has also received a Certificate of Completion in Diversity Training from The Pennsylvania State University, and successfully completed Bob Pike’s Train the Trainer program sponsored by the American Society for Training & Development.
Through the course of her experience, Howell developed her own philosophy of talent development rooted in empowerment, enthusiasm, organization and innovation. As a professional, she prides herself on embracing professionalism when dealing with people, processes, and performance, and aims to transform businesses in the new age.
Janelle has worked for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, PSECU (Pennsylvania State Employee Credit Union), and the Girl Scouts of America, in the capacities of Public Relations, Human Resources, and Marketing.
She has developed instructor-led and multi-media training materials for the Franklin & Fulton County Mental Health Association, Manito Inc., and The Pennsylvania State University to name a few. Ms. Howell’s specialties also include conducting training and organizational needs analyses, designing rapid learning materials, and facilitating training and development sessions. Notable audiences include Franklin County Youth Leadership, Gaston College Small Business Center, and the Pennsylvania Women’s Consortium.
Currently, Ms. Howell maintains professional memberships with both the Association for Talent Development and The E-Learning Guild.
